The entrance to this property required access for horse trailers to be maintained but from a design perspective a sense of arrival was required. The solution was to integrate a circular driveway with the existing entrance and garden, allowing for a bespoke horse sculpture to be the focus in this space.
From a distance the spiral of grasses surrounding the proposed sculpture will create an image of a horse on the open planes. Only when moving closer to the sculpture will the spiral be revealed.
Repeating the circular form in other areas of the garden adds continuity to the landscape and forms connections throughout the site.
